About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the product development lifecycle, operating rhythm of planning, reviews, and metrics, and portfolio operations across teams
  • Own program and release management, keeping cross-team initiatives on track and dependencies, risks, and progress visible to leadership
  • Own the product toolchain, portfolio data, and metrics so teams and leaders share one trustworthy view
  • Apply AI to the product lifecycle to accelerate funnel development, business cases, evidence, sizing, and portfolio prioritization
  • Lead product design, user research, and the design system from discovery through launch
  • Standardize the product development lifecycle and operating cadence across teams
  • Lead program management across the portfolio and provide leadership with a clear view of progress and risk
  • Resolve tooling friction so teams work from one source of truth
  • Lead and grow the UX team and evolve a coherent design system across products
  • Run the early-access and customer-advisory motion to bring clinician feedback into the product early
  • Build, coach, and retain a team spanning operations and design
  • Report directly to the VP, Product, and serve every product team rather than owning a single product

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years across product operations, program management, and/or design leadership, including running cross-functional operating models
  • Experience standardizing a product development lifecycle and operating cadence for multiple teams
  • Hands-on experience embedding AI into how product teams discover, build, and ship — and using it to speed up the funnel, business cases, and prioritization
  • Program and release management skill — making dependencies, risk, and progress visible and keeping initiatives on track
  • Design and research leadership — led or partnered closely with UX and owned or grown a design system
  • Fluency with product tooling and metrics, and a bias toward one source of truth
  • People leadership and clear, plain communication with product, engineering, design, and executives
  • Background in healthcare, medical imaging, or another regulated domain
  • Experience with AI-assisted research, synthesis, or evaluation tooling in a regulated environment
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and regulated software development
