About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide demonstration, supervision and support to Mid Year Intake Graduate Nurses
- Support delivery of care, clinical tasks, administrative tasks and ancillary care tasks in inpatient and community settings
- Lead evidence-based education
- Foster recovery-oriented practice
- Contribute to recruitment, development and retention of the future mental health workforce
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary Learning and Development team
- Support staff to deliver safe, high-quality mental health care
- Foster a positive learning culture supporting growth, confidence and continuous improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Bachelor of Nursing
- Post Graduate Diploma or Masters of Mental Health
- Current Police Record Check
- Working with Children Check
- Proof of current Influenza Vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders
- Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment desirable
- Previous experience across inpatient and community mental health
- Excellent clinical, teaching, communication, time management and organisational skills
- Ability to adapt, prioritise and solve problems in a dynamic clinical environment
- Evidence-based approach to clinical education and supervision
- Ability to build respectful relationships and work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
