About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Join the Physiotherapy team at Werribee Mercy Hospital
  • Provide contemporary, high-quality, evidence-based, person-centred physiotherapy care to patients in designated clinical areas
  • Participate in the Grade 1 physiotherapy rotation
  • Rotate through outpatients, acute inpatients, sub-acute inpatients, Community Based Rehabilitation and a rural rotation at Mercy Care Centre Young
  • Participate in the weekend roster for applicable rotations
  • Work as a member of inter-professional teams
  • Manage a designated physiotherapy caseload
  • Commence the first rural rotation at Mercy Care Centre Young from late October 2026 to end January 2027

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Recognised Degree in Physiotherapy
  • Full, unlimited AHPRA physiotherapy registration
  • Current Victorian (or equivalent) full Drivers License
  • Broad clinical physiotherapy experience in an acute hospital setting
  • Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt and problem solve
  • Availability and willingness to rotate to MCC Young as first rotation to 30 Jan 27
  • Dedicated, compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management
  • Ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment
  • Current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check, or in the process of obtaining
  • Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders
