About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide professional nursing care to patients within the medical practice
- Support and assist physicians in the treatment of patients
- Complete related clinical paperwork
- Perform care, examination, diagnostic and treatment room procedures
- Provide patient education and support development of self-care programs
- Communicate with patients, families, visitors and employees in a caring, friendly, personal and professional manner
- Comply with federal, state and local regulations and organizational policies and procedures
- Work 2 days in clinic and 3 days remotely after completing 90 days of on-site training
- Perform related duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Knowledge of the principles and skills needed for nursing, care, examination, diagnostic and treatment room procedures
- Knowledge of medications and their effects
- Knowledge of patient education and principles to develop a self-care program
- Knowledge of instruments and common safety practices
- Current valid state license
- Must complete 90 days of on-site training before moving into the hybrid remote schedule
- Schedule availability Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
