About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as primary liaison between specialty physician and patient
  • Communicate with patients, assess and evaluate their needs, and advise patients of recommended actions/course of treatment as directed by the physician
  • Complete 90 days of on-site training before transitioning to a hybrid schedule
  • Work 2 days in clinic and 2 days remotely
  • Work a part-time day schedule of 32 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 4x8s, 7:30a–4:00p

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
  • Knowledge of the principles and skills needed for nursing, care, examination, diagnostic and treatment room procedures
  • Knowledge of medications and their effects
  • Knowledge of patient education and principles to develop a self-care program
  • Knowledge of instruments and common safety practices
  • Current valid state license
  • Schedule availability Monday–Friday, 4x8s, 7:30a–4:00p
  • Must complete 90 days of on-site training before moving into the hybrid remote schedule
  • Experience not required
