About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, modify, debug, and evaluate programs for functional or operational areas
- Analyze complex business problems and identify automated system solutions
- Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing cost-effective systems and procedures
- Analyze existing programs and formulate logic for new systems
- Devise logic procedures, prepare flowcharts, perform coding, and test/debug programs
- Develop conversion and system implementation plans
- Prepare and obtain approval of system and programming documentation
- Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards
- Configure system settings and options
- Plan and execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing
- Create system specifications to meet business requirements
- Train users in system conversion and implementation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience
- Eight (8) years of relevant technical or business work experience
- Highly preferred certifications: Cogito, Cogito Tools Administration, Cogito Project Manager, Caboodle Data Model, Clarity Data Model
- Must have existing work authorization; Mercy is unable to offer immigration sponsorship or visa assistance
