About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Formulate and define business scope and objectives through research and fact-finding
- Perform functional analysis, requirements definition, application module configuration, and testing
- Conduct prototypes and develop functional specifications
- Perform data mapping and function mapping
- Set configuration tables and transaction/control tables
- Analyze business requirements and develop solutions for business functions
- Identify and resolve gaps in business processes
- Participate in security/authorization setup and user documentation
- Design data interfaces
- Support data migration and reconciliation
- Participate in installation and tuning of modifications and archiving data
- Develop necessary workarounds using light programming skills
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of Eight (8) years of relevant technical or business work experience
- Lawson S3 development experience strongly desired
- Strong supply chain and finance experience preferred
- Lawson administration experience preferred
- Deep understanding of information systems, business processes, key drivers, and measures of success for the relevant business
- Deep knowledge of requirements management, diagramming, and use case development
- Deep knowledge in process design, reengineering, and requirements documentation methodologies
- Experience in the design and production of quality deliverables
- Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
- Strong vendor relationship skills
- Skilled in Project Management and ability to manage small to intermediate projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
