About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain and improve systems, processes, and tools for programs, business development, partner agreements, reporting, and revenue-generating activity
  • Maintain Salesforce data, workflows, reports, dashboards, trackers, documentation, and user guides
  • Identify data gaps, reporting needs, and system issues and escalate technical questions as appropriate
  • Coordinate onboarding for new EGP staff, including plans, checklists, schedules, materials, and resources
  • Deliver practical Salesforce training and refreshers for staff
  • Gather feedback and recommend updates to processes, templates, trackers, documentation, and workflows
  • Support business development through proposal resources, templates, trackers, repositories, partner outreach, submissions, reporting, and follow-up
  • Manage the day-to-day State Charitable Registration process
  • Prepare structured updates on business development status, priorities, and next steps
  • Maintain processes for program planning, implementation, partner coordination, deliverable tracking, and accountability
  • Document workflows and strengthen information sharing across program teams and Centers
  • Track action items, operational decisions, and process updates
  • Coordinate drafting, review, tracking, and filing of MOUs, scopes of work, contracts, partner agreements, and related documentation
  • Work with Finance on budgets, agreements, revenue tracking, partner documentation, and internal coordination
  • Coordinate with Communications, EGP, Finance, and Center teams on partner visibility, event materials, proposal assets, shared content, timelines, and deliverables
  • Complete organizational administrative responsibilities and other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in international relations, business, nonprofit management, public administration, or another related field preferred
  • 4+ years of related experience in operations, project coordination, business development support, nonprofit administration, CRM use, or related fields
  • Experience supporting program operations, proposal development, partner agreements, budget coordination, or cross-functional projects preferred
  • Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM preferred
  • Ability to prepare reports and help colleagues use shared systems effectively
  • Equivalent combination of training, education, and experience may demonstrate ability to perform essential functions
  • Strong project coordination, organization, and process improvement skills
  • Detail-oriented with reliable follow-through and commitment to data accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables with appropriate guidance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand business needs and translate them into practical workflows, reports, and tools
  • Collaborative and diplomatic approach across teams and organizational levels
  • Familiarity with data governance, compliance, or nonprofit business development practices preferred
  • Strong intercultural communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and tact
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
  • Experience with SharePoint, Canva, Zoom, or similar tools preferred
  • Must reside in Maryland, District of Columbia, or Virginia
