About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and execute the U.S. sales strategy aligned with organizational objectives
- Drive sustainable revenue growth through innovative sales approaches and market expansion
- Partner with executive leadership to influence business direction and priorities
- Define and articulate clear vision and expectations while holding individuals accountable
- Lead and mentor senior sales leaders across U.S. divisions
- Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous professional development
- Provide strategic guidance and coaching to empower leaders and foster high-performing teams
- Champion a customer-centric approach across all sales activities
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities
- Collaborate with marketing, strategic account, pricing, and product management teams
- Establish sales objectives, quotas, and performance metrics
- Implement forecasting processes and manage the sales pipeline
- Ensure compliance with pricing strategies, contract terms, and company policies
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, product development, finance, and operations
- Drive adoption of CRM systems and sales enablement tools
- Lead negotiations and manage relationships with key physician thought leaders, major clients, and strategic partners
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or equivalent experience
- MBA preferred
- 15+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, ideally in the medical device or healthcare industry
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and leading large, multi-region sales teams
- Strong strategic planning, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to foster collaboration and influence at all organizational levels
- Extensive sales experience and knowledge of medical device industry
- Ability to evaluate markets based on customers’ needs and wants
