Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure
Manage preparation of financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and regulatory requirements
Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information and reporting
Develop and implement financial strategies supporting company growth and profitability
Lead budgeting and quarterly forecasting updates
Monitor and analyze budget performance and implement corrective actions
Provide financial analysis and modeling for strategic initiatives
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and standards
Develop and maintain financial governance policies and procedures
Partner with the executive team on long-term financial strategies
Provide financial insights and recommendations for business decisions
Lead and mentor the finance team
Provide training and development opportunities for finance staff
Manage relationships with external auditors, investors, and financial institutions
Present financial reports and insights to executives, the board, and investors
Communicate financial performance and strategy to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
MBA or CPA preferred
Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in finance
At least 3 years in a leadership role
Proven experience in the technology or blockchain industry highly desirable
Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and financial regulations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset
Proficiency in financial software and tools, including ERP systems, Excel, and financial modeling
Exceptional leadership and team management abilities
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to convey complex financial information clearly
