About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan and manage refurbishments, construction works, and building projects from initial needs assessment through completion and handover
  • Oversee construction projects involving both existing buildings and new builds across service phases 1 to 8
  • Act as a point of contact for managers regarding the planning and implementation of requested construction measures
  • Coordinate interfaces between internal clients, MERKUR GROUP subsidiaries, and project stakeholders
  • Develop comprehensive concepts and structural solutions
  • Present concepts and proposed solutions to managers and executive management
  • Support due diligence processes for purchase price determination

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed degree in architecture (Dipl.-Ing., Bachelor's, or Master's) or a comparable qualification
  • Professional experience in managing and coordinating building projects in the field of structural construction
  • Knowledge of relevant building regulations and technical standards
  • Ideally, authorization to submit building applications
  • Good knowledge of design, approval, and construction-detail planning
  • Understanding of structural and technical interrelationships
  • Creative approach to work
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and CAD
  • CAFM experience is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel for projects and specific assignments (25%), including internationally
  • Confident and professional demeanor
  • Strong teamworking skills
  • Good command of English
