About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and expand strategic client relationships within key life sciences accounts
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic clients
  • Conduct regular meetings to understand client objectives, challenges, and needs
  • Align company products and services with client goals using a consultative approach
  • Identify upselling, cross-selling, and new business opportunities within existing accounts

  • Collaborate with sales, product management, marketing, customer success, and senior leadership
  • Stay informed about company offerings, industry trends, and competitive intelligence
  • Maintain accurate key account records in the CRM system, such as Salesforce
  • Document client interactions, meetings, opportunities, and action items
  • Provide timely reports on account activities, performance, and progress against targets

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in account management, sales, or customer success
  • Demonstrated ability to manage key or strategic accounts
  • Strong interpersonal skills with senior-level decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Ability to identify client needs and propose tailored solutions
  • Ability to negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service agreements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and accounts simultaneously
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and achieve revenue and customer satisfaction goals
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, such as Salesforce
  • Expertise in life science products, services, and applications
  • Ability to navigate complex sales cycles, including long-term contracts, large deals, and multi-stakeholder negotiations
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
  • Ability to use a computer and perform frequent repetitive motions
  • Must comply with applicable work authorization requirements
