About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Document complete cloud hosting systems, including capacity planning, software and instance type selection, allocation, and network design
Build cloud systems through installation, configuration, and testing of cloud resources
Use automation and configuration management to ensure repeatability and traceability of changes
Troubleshoot system hardware, software, networks, and operating systems
Implement access controls and monitoring tools to protect system integrity and security
Provide written evaluations and recommendations for ongoing improvement
Monitor and analyze systems and perform performance tuning
Maintain internal systems and customer deployment documentation
Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation, approximately one week on call and one week on backup per month
Respond to support tickets and incidents according to SLA commitments
Update job knowledge through educational opportunities, professional publications, personal networks, and professional organizations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Residing in Brazil
Resume submitted in English as a PDF
Read and agree to the Corporate Values Statement
Believe in the company mission: to help people
2+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Advanced to fluent English communication skills
Familiarity with Linux System Administration
Scripting language experience; Python and Shell preferred
Deep knowledge of TCP/IP and HTTP protocols
Experience with web accelerators, load balancers, reverse proxies, and CDNs
Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
Additional cloud provider experience is a bonus
Problem-solving ability and willingness to work in an agile/fast-paced environment
Customer-oriented with good communication skills
AWS Certifications or willingness to get certified is nice to have
Interest in Generative AI technologies is nice to have
Some Windows System Administration experience is nice to have
Must not require visa sponsorship due to legal limitations
