About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supervise daily operations of assigned medical practice facilities
- Work closely with physicians to maintain quality patient care
- Supervise and perform front-end revenue cycle workflows and manage provider performance against MMG initiatives
- Round with staff daily and maintain standards for huddles, staff meetings, one-on-one meetings, practice performance meetings, and operating reports
- Coordinate annual operating budget preparation and monitor performance against budget
- Manage business affairs of assigned practices
- Use data to make informed operational decisions and provide updates to MMG leadership
- Manage and report patient experience and access
- Hire, train, monitor, evaluate, and retain staff
- Manage work schedules and ensure appropriate staffing
- Oversee medication and medical equipment inventory, resupply, and maintenance
- Manage security and occupational health and safety
- Interact with patients, resolve complaints, and manage grievances according to MMG policy
- Partner with providers to achieve performance metrics and develop business strategies and patient services
- Support provider recruitment and onboarding
- Assist with short- and long-term practice growth strategies
- Model leadership behaviors supporting organizational mission and goals
- Lead practice-based committees and engage staff in operational decisions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in health care administration, public health, health information management, or business administration preferred
- Three years of experience in a position with supervisory responsibilities preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Computer literacy and knowledge of relevant health care and administrative software
- Good leadership, motivation, training, and goal-setting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Financial and accounting skills
- Knowledge of finance best practices and standards
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Able to travel to meetings and attend conferences as necessary
- Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching
- Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate office equipment
- Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate reports
