About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Render highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients
- Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Support the mission, vision, values, and strategic goals of Methodist Health System
- Adhere to hospital standards and promote a cooperative work environment
- Assume responsibility for patient, family, and significant-other education
- Communicate with the care team, coworkers, patients, and family members and evaluate understanding
- Create and maintain a safe and therapeutic environment
- Ensure complete, accurate, and timely written communication of patient information
- Administer medications and IVs safely, accurately, and timely

Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
- 12 months of RN experience
- Ability to work PRN shifts from 8am–6pm, including any day Sunday through Saturday
