About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and execute cyber security audits
Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards
Develop and maintain risk management frameworks aligned with ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR
Identify and mitigate cyber risks across digital and operational infrastructures
Provide guidance on cyber risk governance, resilience, and assurance strategies
Assess third-party risk management practices
Conduct security audits on suppliers and partners
Collaborate with CISOs, IT, and compliance teams
Report findings and recommendations to senior leadership
Drive implementation of risk mitigation strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need

One of: ChCSP in Audit and Assurance; PriCSP in Audit and Assurance with commitment to attaining Chartered status; CMIIA with willingness to work towards ChCSP; CISA with willingness to work towards ChCSP; or QiCA with willingness to work towards ChCSP
Candidates must hold or achieve Security Clearance
Completion of Baseline Personnel Security Standard onboarding checks
Proven experience in cyber security risk management and audit, ideally within regulated industries
Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, and GDPR compliance
Ability to conduct security assessments, risk analyses, and internal audits
Familiarity with SIEM and GRC platforms
Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Additional certifications of interest include IRM Chartered Risk Manager, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, and CISSP
