About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the primary technical design and project management lead for non-parking launches in the Recognition portfolio
Manage high-stakes deployments from initial planning through go-live handoff
Develop scalable processes and operational strategies to mitigate risks
Oversee complex technical architectures and deliver recognition solutions with consistent quality
Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, resource requirements, schedules, and risk registers
Define system specifications and ensure architectural integrity from kickoff through go-live
Define scopes of work for third-party integrators, manage timelines and budgets, and conduct site audits
Serve as the primary point of accountability and contact for customers
Collaborate with Support to coordinate technical execution and hand off fully deployed environments
Identify problematic trends in deployment processes and propose solutions to reduce administrative overhead
Set quality-gating criteria and ensure system functionality matches agreed project scope

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of experience in technical project management, specifically leading complex infrastructure or security-related deployments
Demonstrated experience with large-scale field deployments and operational support for distributed hardware
Familiarity with enterprise IP video cameras and systems, such as Axis, Avigilon, and Genetec
Advanced skills in risk mitigation, stakeholder management, budgeting, and sophisticated communication strategies
Proven ability to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways and work with a high degree of autonomy
Comfort with AI tooling
Ability to translate complex customer requirements into scalable technical designs and standardized deployment architectures
Ability to support regional business development activity and address coverage gaps
Experience in a high-growth or technology-driven company
Familiarity with software-centric computer vision solutions
Familiarity with TypeScript, React, Scala, Java, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, AWS, Git, GitHub, Copilot on GitHub, and Datadog
