About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own MGT's corporate development pipeline, tracking active conversations, status, next steps, and owners
- Build and maintain financial models for strategic opportunities, including valuation analysis, M&A pro formas, partnership return models, and capital structure scenarios
- Produce board-quality decks, investment memos, partnership summaries, and strategic analyses
- Manage and coordinate due diligence workstreams
- Keep the CEO briefed on pipeline status, milestones, and open items
- Monitor the insurtech, P&C, and AI investment landscape
- Research potential acquisition targets, partnership candidates, and distribution opportunities
- Source opportunities, manage bankers, run deal processes, negotiate with CEOs, CFOs, and General Counsel, and shepherd legal agreements through closing
- Build analytical and process infrastructure including models, decks, pipeline tracking, and data rooms
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years across investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or in-house corporate development
- FIG, insurance, or fintech experience preferred
- Strong financial modeling foundation: valuation, DCF, transaction modeling, and three-statement analysis
- Experience producing board-quality decks, deal memos, and due diligence outputs under time pressure
- Familiarity with M&A or deal processes: NDAs, data rooms, diligence workstreams, and document management
- Exceptional organizational skills — manages multiple workstreams and deadlines without dropping threads
- High output under pressure — comfortable with the pace and demands of a deal environment
