- Provide service to the program, department, division, university, and profession
- Maintain regular campus presence as an on-campus faculty member
Requirements
What you’ll need- Earned doctorate in Literacy Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Teacher Education, or a related field by date of appointment
- Two years of full-time teaching experience in PK-8 classrooms
- Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in PK-8 level literacy education
- Required application documents: cover letter, Curriculum Vitae (CV), Statement of Research Plans, and Teaching Philosophy
- Evidence of research quality and a list of any courses taught should be included
- Criminal background check required
