Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ph.D. in Philosophy by time of appointment
  • Teaching experience
  • Demonstration of teaching effectiveness
  • Competence in Medical Ethics and other areas of applied ethics and/or environmental philosophy
  • Prior coursework in biology and/or the health sciences is desirable but not required
  • Resume/CV, cover letter, statement of teaching philosophy, and writing sample required
  • Criminal background check required
  • Must satisfy employment eligibility requirements through E-Verify
