About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the planning, design, and delivery of aviation facilities, including terminal expansions, support facilities, and emerging aviation infrastructure
- Participate in all phases of architectural design, from programming and schematic design through construction documentation and construction administration
- Develop architectural drawings, details, presentations, renderings, and technical documentation using Revit and related design tools
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architecture, engineering, planning, and airport stakeholders
- Engage consultant coordination and integration of building systems into project designs
- Participate in client meetings and contribute to presentations and design reviews
- Support quality assurance and quality control efforts while ensuring compliance with applicable codes, airport standards, and regulatory requirements
- Assist project managers and senior architects with project budgeting, scheduling, and project delivery
- Contribute innovative design solutions that support evolving aviation technologies and future airport development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program
- 8+ years of professional architectural experience
- Florida Architecture licensure required; candidates actively pursuing licensure are encouraged to apply
- Strong proficiency in Revit and related architectural design software
- Strong understanding of building systems, construction documentation, and consultant coordination
- Knowledge of building codes, accessibility requirements, and industry standards
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
