About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Become an expert in the data powering Middesk products and maintain its accuracy and recency
  • Design, operate, and streamline high-volume fulfillment workflows for successful client outcomes
  • Automate recurring operational work and measure time and cost savings
  • Build dashboards and analyses to evaluate data and fulfillment-process performance
  • Identify the largest operational improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Product, and Customer Experience to launch products, improve processes, and create multi-team procedures
  • Partner with Finance to identify operational inefficiencies and propose cost-benefit-balanced solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least two years of experience in consulting, finance, strategy, or business operations
  • Experience designing, scaling, and maintaining high-volume processes, with a focus on software-driven systems
  • Experience using data to find insights, drive action, and solve problems
  • Strong preference for understanding SQL and building dashboards
  • Ability to use operational expertise to advise Product and Engineering teams on turning processes into internal and external products
  • Experience at a B2B SaaS startup or a financial services company (nice to have)
  • Exposure to vendor management or leading outsourced teams, or interest in growing into that work (nice to have)
  • Exposure to unit-cost tracking for operational and fulfillment processes (nice to have)
  • Experience automating manual work with scripting, workflow tools, or AI-assisted tooling (nice to have)
  • Ability to work from the New York or San Francisco office a few days a week
  • Work authorization or visa sponsorship status for the United States
