About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ship dashboard features enabling customers to discover and trial products in context
  • Build and improve self-service onboarding for smaller businesses
  • Own engineering for the middesk.com rebuild, including site structure, performance, human- and AI-focused content, hosted demo environments, and testing infrastructure
  • Work with Marketing, Sales, and Account Management to understand funnel activity and prioritize the backlog
  • Apply Middesk's internal agents to account and contact enrichment, content research, topic curation, and funnel analysis
  • Instrument acquisition and expansion features and use results to determine next steps

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years shipping production web applications
  • Strong full-stack fundamentals
  • Experience with Rails and React
  • Strong frontend skills and user-facing quality focus
  • Comfort with SQL and analytics
  • Ability to define and defend a metric
  • Track record of owning outcomes end to end, including measurement and iteration after launch
  • Strong communication with Marketing, Sales, and other non-engineering partners
  • Startup experience
  • Hands-on AI tooling workflow
  • Must be located in the New York or San Francisco area, or open to relocation
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must not require visa sponsorship to continue working in the United States
  • Nice to have: growth engineering, product-led growth, experimentation, A/B testing frameworks, funnel analytics, SEO, AEO, marketing-site acquisition, fintech, compliance, identity, founder, or early-stage startup engineering experience
