About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage planning, design, execution, and reporting for software tests
Review business and software requirements for gaps, testability, and methodology
Review program documentation and products for quality and adherence to design concepts
Prepare milestone status reports and system concept deliveries/presentations
Support Cybersecurity Test and Evaluation in accordance with DoDI 5000.02 and the DoD Risk Management Framework
Prepare and review test plans
Prepare test cases and scripts, analyze test data, and ensure requirements traceability
Work with software development throughout the development process
Support software configuration management and understand software components and interface requirements
Perform manual and automated testing from unit testing through integration and user acceptance testing
Report and track defects throughout the defect management process
Analyze test results and track software testing metrics
Support creation of test reports
Train, mentor, and supervise junior software engineers
Assist with business development activities, including technical interviews, technical documentation, proposal writing support, and proposal color reviews

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active Secret clearance required
BS and 8 years of experience, or high school diploma and 13 years of experience
Security+ certification required
AWS Cloud Practitioner certification preferred
Comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Able to lift up to 10–15 pounds at a time
