About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist in building and updating responsive user interface components from mockups
Support Java backend services by maintaining and writing endpoints using Spring Boot
Support legacy REST/SOAP integrations
Write and maintain unit tests
Participate in regular code reviews and apply modern coding practices
Gain exposure to cross-platform enterprise environments using Java and .NET
Help map data flow and understand architecture transitions
Work with senior engineers, QA teams, and stakeholders to resolve bugs
Implement user stories and meet project deadlines

Requirements

What you’ll need

0–3 years of software development experience
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or TypeScript
Understanding of core Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts in Java
Familiarity with modern web concepts, including REST APIs
Fundamental knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts
Familiarity with Git or GitHub for source code management
Strong desire to expand skills across different technologies, including exposure to .NET, SOAP services, or database systems
Resourceful mindset with a logical approach to debugging and troubleshooting software issues
Clear written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, growth-oriented attitude
Comfortable asking questions when blocked and enthusiastic about picking up new tools and frameworks
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or completion of an accredited software engineering bootcamp/program is preferred
Hands-on exposure to Spring Boot, React, or Angular through personal projects or coursework is preferred
