About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase market share among targeted hospitals, surgical centers, and related entities
  • Promote and sell the company’s products and tissues to established customers and new prospects
  • Drive sales growth and achieve defined sales performance goals
  • Identify, define, and execute market opportunities through marketing strategies and sales plans
  • Achieve balanced revenue growth across customer accounts and surgical-related sales channels
  • Select approved presentation content and conduct group and individual presentations on company products and uses
  • Research and resolve customer purchase-order issues within established policies and guidelines
  • Collaborate with the wound account executive and management to support physicians using company products
  • Report and track sales activities and territory sales forecasts accurately and promptly
  • Maintain awareness of industry activities, updates, and local market knowledge
  • Use scientific medical studies to educate customers and prospects about product properties, results, and outcomes
  • Establish territory plans to achieve current-period revenue and sales goals and long-term territory growth
  • Work at customer/clinical sites and/or a home office
  • Travel regularly within the assigned territory

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS/BA in related discipline
  • 2–5 years of experience in a related field with 1–3 years of progressive responsible positions, or verifiable ability
  • OR MS/MA and 1–3 years of experience in a related field
  • Certification is required in some areas
  • Preferred 3–4 years of experience in the medical device, biotechnology, and tissue segments of the healthcare industry
  • Previous experience in high-growth organizations and developing relationships that fueled the organization’s growth
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management, internal and external, and customers
  • Ability to influence others using tenacity and diplomacy
  • Organized, flexible, and able to multitask while maintaining efficiency and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical, strategic, technical analysis, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze markets, plan sales strategies, and present clinical and scientific data to physicians
  • Proven track record of sales results and recognitions
  • Successful track record of achieving sales goals and growing top-line results
  • Demonstrated skills in strategic selling and market analytics
  • Ability to build a moderate-size network of healthcare-provider relationships
  • Must adhere to customer-site credentialing and registration systems, which require up-to-date vaccines
  • Must travel locally and/or long distance within the assigned territory regularly
