About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct a comprehensive assessment of Minerva's marketing and enrollment funnel
  • Evaluate marketing strategy, channel mix, campaign performance, audience segmentation, lead generation, lead quality, application conversion, and enrollment conversion
  • Analyze historical performance, marketing spend, resource allocation, reporting, dashboards, KPIs, attribution, and data sources
  • Identify data quality, tracking, attribution, measurement, leakage, and inefficiency gaps
  • Research competitor digital marketing strategies, positioning, messaging, search visibility, keywords, content, audiences, channels, and market opportunities
  • Analyze search trends, prospective-student behavior, emerging digital marketing channels, SEO/AEO opportunities, and higher-education acquisition trends
  • Analyze lead generation, lead quality, applications, conversion rates, costs per lead/application, channel, campaign, audience, geographic, website, landing-page, and search performance
  • Identify low-cost opportunities to increase qualified leads and applications
  • Improve organic search, website conversion, content, targeting, segmentation, messaging, campaign performance, re-engagement, referrals, partnerships, and Marketing–Enrollment–Admissions coordination
  • Synthesize research, data, and market intelligence into prioritized strategic recommendations
  • Develop concise presentations and reports for leadership
  • Present findings, supporting data, trends, competitive insights, opportunities, risks, and recommended actions
  • Implement approved strategies and insights

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Significant professional experience in digital marketing, growth marketing, marketing strategy, or digital marketing consulting
  • Strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape and major acquisition channels
  • Strong knowledge of SEO and emerging AEO/search strategies
  • Experience evaluating digital marketing performance and identifying improvement opportunities
  • Strong market and competitive research skills
  • Excellent analytical and critical-thinking abilities
  • Ability to independently conduct research and turn large amounts of information into clear insights
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets proficiency
  • Experience using SEMrush or a comparable SEO/web analytics platform
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation and executive communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and quickly in a consulting environment
  • Ability to move from research to insight to recommendation to action
  • Preferred: experience in higher education, education technology, student recruitment, or another complex acquisition environment
  • Preferred: experience marketing to prospective students or other high-consideration audiences
  • Preferred: experience with international or multi-market marketing
  • Preferred: experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Analytics, Search Console, or similar platforms
  • Preferred: experience with conversion rate optimization
  • Preferred: experience with content strategy and digital audience development
  • Preferred: familiarity with AI-driven search and emerging search behavior
  • Preferred: experience conducting competitive digital marketing audits
  • Preferred: consulting or agency experience
