About the role

- Serve as the MLT Program Director

- Work Monday through Friday
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor degree
- Two full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience as a medical laboratory technologist/scientist
- One year of this work experience within the five years immediately preceding the date of application, unless waived through two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years
- Medical Laboratory Technologist/Scientist certification by ASCP, AAB Board of Registry (ABOR), or American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- Must be able to lawfully accept employment in the United States at the time of employment
- Must apply online and attach an electronic cover letter, resume, and transcripts
- Must conform to Minnesota State vehicle use criteria and consent to a Motor Vehicle Records check when driving on college/university business using a rental or state vehicle
- Preferred: Master’s or Doctoral degree
- Preferred: ASCP-BOC or ASCPi-BOC
- Preferred: Generalist certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist
- Preferred: Three years of postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field
- Preferred: Knowledge of education methods, administration, current NAACLS accreditation procedures, and certification procedures
- Preferred: Experience with D2L or another online Course Management System
- Preferred: Understanding of the mission, vision, and core values of a comprehensive two-year college
- Preferred: Experience in curriculum development
- Preferred: Excellent interpersonal and team building skills
