About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with the Area Director Central Europe to manage priorities, coordinate strategic activities and support decision-making
- Manage complex calendars, leadership meetings, travel arrangements and key business engagements
- Build relationships with senior stakeholders across Central Europe and the wider BAT organization
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism, judgement and discretion
- Lead, coach and support a team of Executive Assistants
- Encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing and professional development
- Foster an inclusive, high-performing team culture
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes, enhance efficiency and improve stakeholder experience
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Encourage adoption of digital tools and innovative ways of working
- Champion best-practice sharing and strengthen the Executive Assistant community across the area
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Executive Assistant or in a similar business support role within a complex, international environment
- Experience partnering with senior executives and managing multiple priorities
- Previous experience leading, coordinating or mentoring teams
- Strong organizational skills and ability to anticipate needs, solve problems and adapt to changing priorities
- Track record of improving processes and driving efficiencies
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams
- High levels of integrity, discretion and sound judgement when handling confidential matters
- Fluency in both English and German
- Advanced MS Office capabilities
- Working knowledge of SAP
