About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the assigned territory to deliver volume and market-share targets contributing to national, regional, and district objectives
  • Implement cycle activities effectively across all product categories
  • Build strong relationships with retailers and staff
  • Leverage digital tools and commercial insights to meet consumer needs
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience
  • Train retailers and staff to communicate brands effectively to consumers
  • Respond to retailer and staff questions and concerns in a timely manner
  • Monitor contract compliance
  • Provide personalized customer and consumer insights to drive performance
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels and attain distribution targets
  • Reduce out-of-stocks (OOS)
  • Merchandise effectively and ensure competitive pricing across product and brand portfolios
  • Collaborate on provincial and national special projects with Territory Managers
  • Drive performance in a highly regulated market

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1–3 years’ relevant work experience, such as in a marketing-focused role
  • Previous experience within an FMCG or global organization
  • Strong extracurricular participation record, such as case competitions, academic student groups, or sports teams
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Strong business insights, strategic approach, and account management capabilities
  • Energetic, driven, and autonomous
  • Facility with digital tools and ability to interpret commercial data, identify business opportunities, and put plans into action
  • Ability to focus on long-term objectives while capitalizing on short-term opportunities
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field
  • Valid driver’s licence issued by a Canadian province or territory
  • Current legal right to work in Canada
  • Bilingual in French and English; knowledge of English is required for dealings with customers and suppliers elsewhere in Canada and around the world
