About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the full lifecycle of strategic change initiatives supporting Minster Law’s Personal Injury platform, competitiveness, and growth
  • Plan and execute complex, high-impact programmes including acquisitions, office openings, technology rollouts, and major transformation projects
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality, governance, risk, and benefits realisation
  • Establish and run governance forums, steering groups, go/no-go decisions, and senior stakeholder reporting
  • Build and maintain comprehensive project plans and apply PRINCE2 or Agile methodologies
  • Lead cross-functional teams and suppliers to deliver agreed outcomes
  • Ensure smooth transition into business-as-usual operations with sustainable adoption and measurable benefits
  • Develop communication plans and engage stakeholders across the project lifecycle
  • Provide senior leaders with clear insights to support decision-making
  • Manage project budgets, resources, procurement, vendors, and contract performance
  • Track benefit realisation and ensure data-driven business cases align with strategic priorities
  • Champion PMO standards, tooling, lessons learned, retrospectives, and continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience delivering complex, high-impact projects in multi-stakeholder environments
  • Strong command of formal project management methodologies, including PRINCE2 and Agile frameworks
  • Demonstrable success delivering business acquisitions, site openings, technology rollouts, and large-scale business change
  • Exceptional planning, organisation, and execution discipline
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, including project budget management
  • Excellent stakeholder, communication, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Monday.com, Smartsheet, Jira, and Confluence
  • Experience delivering change in environments where data, technology, and customer outcomes are critical
  • Experience within professional services, legal, financial, or regulated sectors
  • Understanding of regulatory, compliance, and risk management in project environments
  • Exposure to mergers and acquisitions processes and post-acquisition integration
  • Experience within insurance, personal injury, or other claims-led/regulated environments
  • Ability to attend the Wakefield office a minimum of 3 times per week
