About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Set strategy for Minted's discovery experience across search, browse, category, and product detail
  • Prioritize growth levers and customer problems based on business strategy, data, research, testing, and technical constraints
  • Define objectives, key results, roadmap, initiative scope, sequencing, and resourcing, including a two-year planning view
  • Maintain a prioritized list of customer problems using behavioral data, research, support signals, session replay, dogfooding, and competitive scans
  • Turn Minted's product data foundation into customer value through attribute-driven search and browse, dynamic product pages, crawlable filtered navigation, conversational shopping groundwork, and personalization
  • Lead cross-team and cross-functional initiatives and resolve dependencies and disagreements
  • Shape solutions with engineering and design around business value, user experience, feasibility, and cost
  • Develop product briefs and documentation with assumptions, growth levers, customer problems, success criteria, and instrumentation plans
  • Specify instrumentation, events, KPIs, and interaction tracking for shipped work
  • Run high-velocity experiments, interpret results, and iterate based on findings
  • Manage stakeholders, risks, scope changes, project kickoffs, read-outs, backlog revisions, launches, and user acceptance testing
  • Report results against objectives and KPIs and adapt the roadmap
  • Mentor and develop product managers and participate in hiring

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of product management experience building and shipping successful consumer e-commerce or direct-to-consumer products and features
  • Track record of setting product strategy for a team or surface area and accountability for outcomes
  • Experience leading initiatives spanning multiple teams and functions, including dependencies and stakeholder work
  • Direct experience owning discovery surfaces: search, browse, navigation, category, or product detail pages
  • Experience building or materially improving an experimentation program, including test design, result interpretation, and diagnosis of measurement and data quality problems
  • Superb analytical skills and fluency with tools used to investigate customer behavior
  • Understanding of technology and architecture, with effective engineering partnership across UX, technical debt, latency, scalability, reliability, and time-to-market tradeoffs
  • Experience mentoring or developing other product managers
  • Working fluency with AI tools in daily product practice
  • Project management skills: planning, setting expectations, meeting commitments, and structuring cross-functional teams
  • Intense commitment to product and customer-experience quality
  • Bonus: MBA or Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Bonus: Experience with product information management platforms, structured product taxonomy, attribute-driven merchandising, hosted search and discovery platforms, technical SEO or answer engine optimization, personalization or recommendation systems, two-sided marketplaces, or comparable platform replatforming/migration
