Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own features end to end from conception through production

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Track record of shipping to real users, such as a product, internal tool, open-source project, or serious side project
  • Strong fundamentals and ability to learn quickly
  • Product-focused mindset and prioritization of customer needs
  • Ability to reason about blast radius, trust boundaries, and security-sensitive infrastructure
  • Ability to read unfamiliar code, reason from first principles, and explain tradeoffs
  • Comfortable across TypeScript, Python, and CockroachDB, or able to learn new languages, protocols, and domains quickly
  • Experience building with AI and agents
  • Comfortable working without heavy process
  • College degree requested in the application form, but not stated as a job-posting requirement
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid environment in San Mateo or San Francisco offices 3x a week
