About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own customers from post-sale through onboarding, adoption, renewal, and expansion
  • Build mutual delivery plans defining success, responsibilities, and timelines
  • Drive onboarding and launch the product against real customer use cases
  • Track account health and run customer check-ins and business reviews
  • Identify and address customer risks before they escalate
  • Coordinate with engineering and founders to resolve customer issues
  • Own renewals and identify expansion opportunities across teams, agents, and company workflows
  • Advocate for customer needs internally while balancing company priorities
  • Build the post-sales function, including delivery-plan templates, health scoring, review cadence, and sales handoff
  • Help determine future hiring needs and grow into customer success leadership
  • Travel to meet customers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Exceptional customer relationship skills and ability to keep rollouts on track
  • Experience owning customer relationships end to end in customer success, account management, consulting, or client delivery
  • Ability to run plans, align customer stakeholders, track commitments, and maintain momentum
  • Comfortable in technical conversations without being an engineer
  • Ability to explain products and their value to technical buyers
  • Experience carrying retention and expansion, or equivalent commercial instinct
  • Experience building playbooks, templates, cadences, and other structure from scratch
  • Calm under pressure and ownership of customer outcomes
  • AI-native or able to become AI-native quickly; genuine curiosity about AI and agents
  • Ability to move quickly with limited process and interest in leading a team
  • Nice to have: AI solutions engineer or forward-deployed engineer background
  • Nice to have: experience selling to or supporting technical and engineering buyers
  • Nice to have: enterprise rollout experience involving security review, procurement, and multi-threading
  • Nice to have: comfort representing the company in business reviews, dinners, and on-site meetings
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid environment in San Mateo or San Francisco offices 3x a week
