About the role

  • Lead the Central California district within the Collision Repair business area
  • Oversee all sales functions within the assigned territory
  • Drive growth in the Collision Repair business area by promoting sales
  • Manage and coordinate activities across distribution channels
  • Develop end-user relationships
  • Use company resources effectively and efficiently to increase sales volume and profitability in alignment with organizational goals
  • Direct, manage, and coordinate sales functions with distribution and end-users

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of prior Sales Experience in the abrasives supply industry or related supply industries such as paint or surface finishing
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Technical aptitude with problem solving skills
  • Detailed knowledge and ability to demonstrate industry applications, processes, and technologies
  • Goal oriented with focus on achieving targets and set sales goals
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and other reporting platforms
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation/demonstration skills for audiences ranging from small to large
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and see; occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to travel to customers by automobile and/or commercial airplane
  • Overnight travel up to 20% of the time
  • Ability to drive 2–3 hours at a time, with extended driving requirements up to 4–6 hours based on customer location
