About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive profitable revenue growth, strengthen customer partnerships, and improve margin performance
  • Lead customer engagement for complex programs, multi-site opportunities, and integrated service solutions across MISTRAS’ In-Lab service network
  • Establish and manage relationships and account governance across procurement, engineering, quality, operations, and senior leadership
  • Own enterprise-wide account strategy across MISTRAS locations
  • Quantify account growth potential and whitespace and translate it into growth targets
  • Own commercial performance against account KPIs, including revenue, margin, retention, pipeline, forecast accuracy, and penetration
  • Lead commercial escalations and contract lifecycle management
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans
  • Build trusted solution-partner relationships within assigned accounts
  • Maintain knowledge of MISTRAS’ OneSource portfolio, especially Aerospace & Defense nondestructive inspection solutions
  • Identify opportunities to expand service penetration across customer locations, programs, and manufacturing processes
  • Collaborate with Operations and Sales Leadership on commercial commitments, operational capabilities, turnaround expectations, and profitability
  • Lead customer discussions on technical solutions, inspection strategy, service delivery models, and long-term support agreements
  • Drive opportunity management, forecasting, quote follow-up, pipeline management, and strategic account reviews
  • Maintain account activity, opportunity tracking, and customer information in HubSpot
  • Provide market intelligence and competitive insights
  • Support contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and commercial strategy development
  • Represent MISTRAS at customer meetings, trade shows, industry events, and professional forums

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma required
  • Undergraduate degree a plus
  • Industry-specific and/or NDT experience required
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Travel between 30-60%
  • Microsoft Office suite proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
  • CRM proficiency preferred
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders at customer walk-downs and trade displays
  • Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs.
