About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Independently manage projects, client relationships, freelancer partners and vendor partners
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to a high standard
  • Define and document project scope, timelines, staffing and delivery processes
  • Create roadmaps, scopes of work, quotes, presentations and meeting notes
  • Monitor project status, risks, dependencies and efficiency
  • Escalate issues early when attention is needed
  • Own client relationships at marketing director and CMO level
  • Shape annual plans with clients
  • Run quarterly business reviews
  • Negotiate scope, retainers and change requests
  • Partner with Portfolio Directors, Growth Partners and Capabilities team experts
  • Identify and pursue cross-sell and up-sell opportunities
  • Support proposals and tender materials
  • Support quarterly forecasts and revenue planning
  • Manage billing preparation, timesheets and project administration
  • Lead, coach and develop junior, mid-level and senior Project Managers
  • Share knowledge, unblock team members and support their professional growth

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 5 years of hands-on project management experience, ideally including some people leadership or mentoring
  • Experience in integrated communication campaigns, including integrated advertising agency experience leading large ATL and production-heavy campaigns
  • Business-level English, spoken and written
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies
  • Ability to handle complex, multi-moving-part projects with precision and structured thinking
  • P&L thinking and forecasting ability
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Decisive, solutions-first mindset
  • Proactive attitude and prioritization ability
  • Genuine interest in personal growth and applying feedback
  • Experience in AI implementation projects focused on creative delivery, performance marketing or CRM initiatives is an asset
  • Experience with retail or FMCG clients is an asset
  • Working understanding of client business landscapes is an asset
  • Experience leading retrospectives or process-improvement initiatives is an asset
