About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build AI-powered features end-to-end, from agent logic and query orchestration to frontend visualization and delivery
Design and implement user experiences for automated insights, including dashboards, notifications, digests, and interactive analysis flows
Collaborate with Product and Design to define proactive analytics experiences and AI-generated insight interactions
Partner with the AI Engine team on agent orchestration, evaluation, and observability tooling
Instrument tracking and build dashboards to measure feature adoption and AI-generated insight quality
Participate in the team on-call rotation to improve system health
Work across React frontend experiences, Python backend services, and the query engine

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
2 to 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong full-stack fundamentals across frontend, backend, and data layers
Excellent debugging and technical investigation skills
Strong technical communication
Experience collaborating in an asynchronous remote environment ideally
Ability to move fast and iterate in ambiguous, greenfield problem spaces
Ownership and focus on delivering value to users
Data-driven mindset and curiosity about how people use analytics tools
Experience building with LLMs, AI agents, or tool-use frameworks is a bonus
React / TypeScript experience is a bonus
Django / Python experience is a bonus
Familiarity with analytics or observability platforms is a bonus
Interest in information retrieval, anomaly detection, or statistical analysis is a bonus
