About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process for assigned indirect categories, including sourcing, supplier relationship management, and category management
  • Develop global category plans based on current market conditions and strategic priorities
  • Lead complex sourcing strategies, RFPs, RFIs, and direct negotiations across assigned categories
  • Evaluate bids based on lowest total cost of ownership
  • Partner with executive leadership to shape category strategies, present business cases, and influence stakeholders and senior supplier partners
  • Lead negotiations for medium- to high-risk contracts
  • Deliver year-over-year hard savings
  • Negotiate and draft contracts using legal and commercial terms to mitigate organizational risk
  • Lead quarterly business reviews with assigned suppliers and ensure SLA and contractual compliance
  • Escalate vendor performance or risk issues to the Indirect Procurement Manager
  • Monitor assigned markets, supply bases, trends, internal and external drivers, and category success factors
  • Provide stakeholders and procurement management with updates on metrics, market changes, risks, and improvement areas

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
  • 7-9 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, vendor management or related procurement role
  • Experience leading multi-year and global contracts worth over $1,000,000
  • Experience building and managing relationships with senior and executive leadership both internal and external
  • Knowledge of legal as well as commercial terms and conditions with the ability to effectively negotiate and draft legal language to mitigate risk
  • Must be a results-focused team player and adapt well to a multitasking, fast paced environment with changing priorities and challenges
  • Strong organizational, presentation and communication skills
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Technology, Legal, Finance, and Risk teams
  • Familiarity with procurement or CLM tools (Coupa strongly preferred)
  • Exposure to third-party risk management (TPRM) or security review processes
