About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute a regional market strategy targeting multifamily owners, developers, architects, and asset management firms
  • Grow Fortune Brands Outdoors product specifications and market share
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with multifamily developer purchasing leaders and specification influencers
  • Retain existing business and secure new project opportunities
  • Partner with territory managers, pro dealers, fabricators, and distributor networks to drive revenue
  • Support multifamily developer projects from specification through close
  • Contribute to national multifamily developer contract strategies
  • Leverage finance, product, operations, and marketing resources to deliver customer solutions and profitable growth
  • Travel within the territory to maintain and deepen account relationships, including approximately two overnight trips per month

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years demonstrated success driving multifamily specification of building materials through both contract and project pathways
  • Direct experience covering major metro geographies
  • Track record of building productive relationships with purchasing and specification decision makers inside multifamily developer organizations
  • Experience growing business at the multifamily builder level
  • Experience developing and sustaining channel partner relationships across distribution and dealer networks
  • Ability to operate independently and manage a complex, multi-stakeholder territory while delivering measurable revenue outcomes
  • Proficiency translating finance, operations, marketing, and product resources into customer-facing solutions
  • Valid State Driver’s License
  • Background in contract negotiation within the building materials or construction industry (nice to have)
  • Experience managing or contributing to P&L accountability within a sales or business development role (nice to have)
  • Familiarity with the hospitality vertical (nice to have)
