About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the design of S/4HANA solutions for brownfield conversions to Private Cloud and greenfield implementations in Public Cloud
- Conduct fit-to-standard and solution design workshops
- Define how the Luzid platform represents scope, global template, configuration, deliverables, and dependencies
- Apply PMO discipline to the product and projects, including phase-gate approval milestones, multi-wave deployment, RAID management, cutover, hypercare, and executive steering committee reporting
- Define quality criteria for specifications, configuration rationales, and test scripts generated by the platform
- Work with engineering to apply artificial intelligence to configuration extraction, test generation, impact analysis, and SAP documentation
- Define requirements and acceptance criteria with product management and validate the solution in real-world programs
- Guide solution consultants and engineers and establish enduring architectural principles
- Perform other activities related to the function
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong experience in solution architecture, functional consulting, or PMO
- Experience leading end-to-end S/4HANA programs, including SAP Activate milestones, work breakdown and estimation, scope and change control, RAID management, governance of multiple vendors and offshore teams, cutover, and hypercare
- Understanding of end-to-end solution architecture responsibilities: core modules, global template, fit-to-standard, clean core, extensibility with BTP, CAP, and RAP, and integrations using IDoc, BAPI, OData, CPI, and Datasphere
- Experience with brownfield conversion models to Private Cloud in the context of RISE with SAP and greenfield implementations in Public Cloud with practical application of fit-to-standard
- Participation in global implementations involving multiple countries and entities, global template governance, and distributed teams across different time zones
- Technical confidence and communication skills to lead workshops, architecture reviews, deployment model discussions, and conversations with client executives
- Responsibility for functional and technical specifications, configuration documentation, process design, and testing strategy
- Experience in both a product company and a systems integrator, with a clear understanding of the trade-offs between brownfield and greenfield and between Private and Public Cloud
- Industry knowledge in manufacturing, consumer goods, life sciences, retail, or logistics
- Experience with SAP Activate, Signavio, Solution Manager, Cloud ALM, Tricentis, or Worksoft
- SAP Certified Solution Architect, PMP, PRINCE2, or TOGAF certifications
- Hands-on experience with artificial intelligence tools, cloud architecture at scale using AWS, Azure, or GCP, and standards such as SOX, GxP, and GDPR
- Advanced or fluent English, both spoken and written
