About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead Cloud, DevOps, Infrastructure, SRE, and Professional Services teams, fostering collaboration, innovation, and high performance
- Manage the delivery of migration, modernization, and digital transformation projects in cloud environments
- Define and evolve strategies for automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices
- Ensure the availability, security, performance, scalability, and observability of technology environments
- Lead critical operations with a focus on operational excellence, business continuity, and customer experience
- Manage contracts, SLAs, KPIs, budgets, profitability, and the department’s financial indicators
- Lead operational governance and the management of incidents, problems, changes, and capacity
- Promote best practices in Cloud Computing, FinOps, SRE, Observability, and Information Security
- Participate in executive forums, governance meetings, and presentations for clients, partners, and senior leadership
- Develop talent by structuring development plans, succession plans, and career paths
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and service expansion
- Perform other duties related to the area
Requirements
What you’ll need- Extensive experience managing Infrastructure, Cloud, DevOps, or Technology Operations teams
- Experience managing managed services, Professional Services, and Delivery Management
- Experience leading digital transformation and Cloud Computing adoption projects
- Knowledge of Cloud Computing, with experience in AWS and GCP
- Knowledge of DevOps and Automation, including Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, and GitOps
- Knowledge of Containers and Platforms, including Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Helm
- Experience with Observability and Monitoring using Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix, Dynatrace, Datadog, and Elastic Stack
- Knowledge of Security and Compliance, including IAM, RBAC, DevSecOps, Vulnerability Management, Brazil’s LGPD, and security in Cloud environments
- Experience in financial management, capacity planning, budget control, and operational metrics
- Experience working in large enterprise environments and critical operations
- Strong relationships with clients and executive stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- Advanced/fluent English for conversation, writing, and reading; an interview stage will be conducted in English
- Preferred: knowledge of Microsoft Azure; postgraduate degree, MBA, or specialization in Management, Technology, or related fields; intermediate/advanced Spanish
- Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert; Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400); AWS Solutions Architect – Professional; CKA; HashiCorp Terraform Associate; ITIL 4; PMP; SAFe Agilist, or equivalent Agile certifications
