About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Implement specified and approved backlog requirements, ensuring acceptance criteria and test scenarios are met
Support the documentation of backlog stories, ensuring requirements are clear
Build prototypes or implement proofs of concept within product discovery teams
Design automated tests on the platform, including unit and regression tests
Participate in all team ceremonies and estimate the team’s effort
Execute the team’s assigned tasks and responsibilities
Promptly escalate identified blockers to the appropriate owners
Serve as a technical reference leader, ensuring platform best practices and compliance with security requirements
Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

What you’ll need

Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Information Technology, or completed any undergraduate degree together with a postgraduate certificate in Information Technology of at least 360 hours
Demonstrated professional experience as a Developer, Systems Analyst, or in a related role
Demonstrated professional experience with the ServiceNow platform
Knowledge of App Engine
Completion of the following ServiceNow training courses: ServiceNow Fundamentals; Scripting in ServiceNow Fundamentals; Automated Test Framework (ATF): Introduction; Automated Test Framework (ATF): Run Tests and Test Suites; Automated Test Framework (ATF): Create and Schedule Tests and Test Suites; and Automated Test Framework (ATF): Additional Tips, Techniques, and Resources
Official Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification obtained from ServiceNow
Prior knowledge of AI is preferred
Candidates nearing completion of their degree may be exempted from the higher education requirement
