About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the day-to-day running of the People function across the full employee lifecycle
- Coordinate onboarding from offer through induction
- Ensure onboarding documentation, right-to-work checks, training records and compliance processes are completed accurately and on time
- Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems and internal trackers
- Support contract generation, employee changes, probation documentation and offboarding
- Act as first point of contact for employee queries
- Coordinate probation reviews, training records, employee communications and engagement initiatives
- Support managers and the wider People team with administrative and operational requirements
- Maintain People policies, process documents and internal guidance materials
- Support reporting, data tracking and audits
- Collaborate across the business to deliver a positive employee experience
- Investigate operational issues and identify practical solutions
- Improve processes, reduce unnecessary administration and increase operational efficiency
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience within a People Operations, HR administration or coordination role
- Strong practical problem-solving skills
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset and ownership of tasks through completion
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment with changing priorities
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Strong administrative and coordination skills with excellent follow-through
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Calm, approachable and responsive manner
- Ability to work independently and know when to seek guidance or escalate
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
- Confidence using HR systems and maintaining accurate employee data
- Experience using HiBob advantageous but not essential
- Experience within healthcare or another regulated, high-growth environment beneficial but not essential
- Legal authorisation to work in the United Kingdom is addressed in the application form
- Ability to attend an office location 1–2 times per week and travel within the UK as required
