About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the design, development and deployment of AI solutions, including LLM-based agents, automation and decision-support tools
- Design and build AI solutions using LLMs, agent frameworks and related tooling from prototype to production
- Integrate AI components with client and Moorhouse systems via APIs, event streams and workflow tools
- Implement version control, testing, observability and performance tuning
- Work with architects and data engineers to define scalable, secure and cost-effective solution designs
- Collaborate with AI Delivery Leads to estimate, plan and deliver work across discovery, pilot and scale phases
- Implement AI performance evaluation frameworks covering accuracy, safety, latency and cost
- Provide technical leadership, support and coaching to AI Engineers and broader consulting teams
- Contribute reusable components, accelerators, templates and knowledge assets to Moorhouse intellectual property
- Contribute to sales and business development
- Lead consultant and client delivery teams on key engagements and accounts
- Motivate, support and develop junior Moorhouse team members
- Support the career development of a small group of colleagues
- Help develop Service Line propositions and integrate with Sector teams
- Deliver AI pilots and solutions into production and measure their cost, capacity, risk and service impact
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6–8 years’ consulting experience, or experience developing and delivering AI products within industry
- Strong hands-on experience building AI/ML systems in production, ideally including LLMs and/or agents
- Proficiency in Python or similar and common AI tooling, including LangChain, LlamaIndex, vector databases and cloud AI services
- Experience integrating with enterprise systems, including REST APIs, microservices and identity/permissions
- Understanding of software engineering best practices, including CI/CD, testing, code quality and observability
- Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience building effective relationships with senior client stakeholders and leadership teams
- Ability to contribute to sales and business development
- Ability to lead consultant and client delivery teams
- Ability to motivate, support and develop junior team members
- Interest in supporting Service Line propositions and integrating with Sector teams
- Visa sponsorship is unavailable; candidates requiring sponsorship now or in the future cannot be progressed
