About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and build the non-vehicle supply chain function across all business units and markets
  • Design and implement scalable procurement processes, policies, approval workflows, and supply chain governance
  • Build the purchase order lifecycle from requisition through approval, issuance, receiving, and three-way AP matching
  • Document SOPs and train the business
  • Establish and run RFP and competitive bid cycles for indirect spend categories
  • Develop sourcing strategies and category plans
  • Lead cross-functional bid evaluations
  • Negotiate vendor pricing, terms, service levels, MSAs, statements of work, renewals, and commercial structures
  • Own vendor onboarding, credit applications, performance scorecards, risk reviews, offboarding, escalations, and disputes
  • Build and maintain a preferred-vendor program
  • Oversee inventory control, receiving, and stock accuracy across depots and markets
  • Set cycle-count and reconciliation cadences
  • Align supply chain capacity with fleet growth and market launches
  • Track and report spend visibility, savings, cycle times, and vendor compliance KPIs to Finance leadership
  • Lead and develop the Purchasing Manager, Inventory & Receiving Manager, and Vendor Relations & Contracts Specialist
  • Report to the Head of Finance and partner with Finance/AP, Operations, Legal, and Vehicle Procurement & Strategic Sourcing

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • 7+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, or vendor/contract management, including building processes from scratch
  • Experience running RFP / competitive sourcing cycles and negotiating vendor contracts, MSAs, and commercial terms
  • Experience designing purchase order, receiving, and inventory workflows and controls
  • Strong negotiation and commercial acumen, with measurable cost savings and improved terms
  • Experience managing and developing a team
  • Comfortable operating in an ambiguous, fast-scaling, multi-entity and multi-market environment
  • Proof of authorization to work in the United States
  • MBA is a plus
  • Experience in mobility, autonomous vehicles, fleet, logistics, or automotive industries is preferred
  • Experience implementing or working within a modern ERP / procurement system, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, is preferred
  • Background at a high-growth or resource-constrained startup is preferred
  • CPSM, CSCP, or similar supply chain / procurement certification is a plus
