About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate uninterrupted administrative support coverage for operational protocols and systems
  • Support management and coordination of administrative and operational projects and ongoing support systems
  • Coordinate workflow and assignments
  • Establish, organize, and maintain case filings, emails, and correspondence
  • Organize and manage case and client information manually and digitally through electronic databases
  • Coordinate, maintain, and oversee file maintenance, storage, and disposition
  • Coordinate hearings, service of process, filings, and calendaring for a high-volume practice across multiple courts and jurisdictions
  • Research judicial rules and procedures in State and Federal courts
  • Assist the practice group with e-filing documents
  • Support development and management of case and practice group timelines
  • Assist attorneys and case teams with preparation and review of pleadings, discovery, and document production materials
  • Distribute draft documents to attorneys and clients
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Report to the Manager of Legal Practice Support and assist the Commercial Litigation and Enforcement group in the Litigation Practice Group

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university, plus a minimum of 3 years related experience in a professional services environment
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
  • Prior experience working in a law firm or legal department focusing on litigation strongly preferred
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and balance competing demands
