About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own a clean, prioritized backlog with user stories, requirements, acceptance criteria, and scope decisions
- Partner with Engineering on solution design and iterative releases
- Prepare the team for planning and refinement sessions
- Track product metrics and use them to inform priorities
- Surface risks, blockers, and unresolved issues proactively
- Help shape and prioritize problem statements with Engineering leads and the Senior PM
- Build domain fluency and understand product rationale and downstream impact
- Write help documentation and release notes
- Keep stakeholders informed on status
- Gradually take on direct stakeholder and client conversations and conduct discovery
Requirements
What you’ll need- Roughly 3–5 years of relevant experience in product management or a related background such as engineering, operations, client success, or program management
- Proactive, low-ego, and collaborative
- Strong, clear communication skills
- Comfortable moving quickly and showing work early
- Curiosity to learn unfamiliar technical domains
- Relationship-building skills with engineers and stakeholders
- Experience with APIs or technical/data products is a plus, but not required
- U.S. work authorization
- Residence in one of the listed hiring states: California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Washington
