About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own financial control and reporting across the entire business
Report quickly and accurately across multiple geographies, currencies, operating models, and accounting principles
Ensure Mosh | Moshy is audit ready
Prepare and file tax returns
Prepare reports for the Board and investors
Ensure financial compliance and governance requirements are met
Manage and mentor the offshore bookkeeping team
Drive process improvements and automation in the finance function
Reduce manual effort and key-person dependency
Enable the finance function to absorb business growth without proportional headcount increases or reduced quality/service delivery
Perform financial analytics and forecasting
Translate financial data into insights and communicate findings to business partners
Report to the CFO

Requirements

What you’ll need

CA or CPA qualified
5+ years' post-qualification experience
Industry experience within a digital subscription type business and understanding unit economics required
Experience in healthcare valued
Proven experience owning the month-end close, statutory reporting, and financial/tax compliance processes
People leadership experience, ideally managing remote/offshore team members
Strong Excel/systems skills
Experience with cloud accounting platforms such as Xero or NetSuite
Prior experience in a health-tech or other regulated scale-up environment valuable
Experience in SaaS or other recurring-revenue businesses valuable
Track record of building and improving finance processes in a growing business valuable
Experience working in a VC- or PE-backed business valuable
Exposure to multi-entity or multi-jurisdictional environments valuable
