About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Structure, maintain, and update detailed construction project schedules, ensuring alignment with corporate guidelines and established timelines
- Develop and monitor baseline and cost-loaded schedules, ensuring information reliability and compliance with established deadlines
- Perform critical path analyses; identify schedule and cost deviations, risks, and trends; and propose corrective and preventive actions
- Integrate information from Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Contracts, and partner teams, promoting alignment and delivery predictability
- Lead scenario analyses and prepare executive reports to support leadership decision-making
- Monitor project performance, ensuring traceability, data quality, and efficiency in planning processes
- Apply project management methodologies and best practices, ensuring compliance with corporate processes
- Support project risk management, contributing to impact mitigation and greater predictability of outcomes
- Participate in the implementation of continuous improvements to construction planning and control processes
- Serve as a technical reference in construction planning, promoting execution discipline and results focus
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Postgraduate degree/MBA in Project Management, Planning, Infrastructure, or a related field
- Solid experience in the planning and control of infrastructure construction projects, preferably highway projects
- Experience developing and monitoring schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
- Knowledge of critical path analysis, risk management, and physical and financial progress control
- Experience reading, interpreting, and monitoring engineering designs
- Knowledge of Integrated Planning (AWP/WFP) — a plus
- Experience with 4D BIM — a plus
- Knowledge of Power BI for developing KPIs and dashboards — a plus
- Experience working for highway concessionaires or on major infrastructure projects — a plus
- Knowledge of the LPS (Last Planner System) methodology — a plus
